At Asotech we believe in the future and in young people: for this reason, once again this year, we are happy to host (even if only virtually) the guys from the UniPR Racing Team and provide them with the necessary training regarding non-linear and explicit analyses using ANSYS.
Our expert, Luigi Barile in the FEM/CFD Simulation and Calculation team, held the course and provided all the tools necessary for the team to improve the aerodynamics of the car, thus increasing overall performance.
In particular, the following topics were addressed during the course:
Non linear analyses:
- Non-linearity induced by contacts;
- Non-linearity induced by displacements (large deflections);
- Non-linearity induced by materials;
We have defined guidelines for the setup of explicit analyses used, for example, in crash test simulations.
The course ended with a brief overview of the transitional analyses.
We hope that what they have learned will be of great help for the team both in the development of their project and in the search for a future occupational opening.
